December is upon us, and the students I’ve spoken with in the past days are struggling to keep up with their end-of-semester assignments, prepare for final exams, and in the case of college applicants, finish their applications! Students who filed Early Action or Early Decision applications are finding it hard to concentrate, as they wait for that first decision.

Eat sensibly. Drink less. Dress warmly and get more sleep. Above all, let go of the idea that everybody but you is having an unspeakably fabulous time.
